Hello, I'm Liana, it’s so nice to have you here! My weaving journey began with a class in 2017, a gift from my Mum, and it quickly became my canvas for colour, shape, and texture, offering a unique form of expression where I didn’t need to draw or paint (because I definitely can’t!). What started as a hobby evolved into Stitched in Twine, a place where my passion for weaving is shared, a place to enjoy, admire, learn, create and connect.
My weaving journey is entwined with my life, providing me with a creative outlet as I navigate life with two young boys, my husband and our faithful cavoodle, Tux. Weaving serves as my meditation—a calming, repetitive practice that allows my mind to wander, it is where I find my peace. My ultimate goal is to share the joy of weaving with you, guiding you towards finding your own creative outlet where you are both excited and feel peace.
